II Corinthians Chapter 12 (Continued) 20~~For I am constantly afraid lest by any means (having come, I shall not find you such as I desire . . . and I shall be discovered by you . . . as not such a kind as you would desire!) for I am afraid lest by any means   {there should be signs of reversionism among you:} {the signs} strifes/discords   {sign of scar tissue on the soul} . . . jealousies   {emotional revolt of the soul- more intense} . . . emotional outburst of anger   {vibrating - reverse process reversionism - highest intensity} . . . strifes from power and approbation lusts . . . slanderous malignings . . . gossipings   {in whispers} . . . fat-headednesses . . . and unruly disturbances/civil disobedience. {Note: If you have these sins when the word is taught, then you are in reversionism and will not get the message. Paul is saying he does not look forward to coming to Corinth because of what he thinks he will find - reversionists uninterested in doctrinal teaching. Paul was gentle with the baby believers when he founded the church. Now they would find him tough and would not like the scolding face to face either!} 21~~I am afraid, lest having come again, my God will humble me   {cause me to be embarrassed} face to face with you, and I shall morn/grieve for many who have sinned before   {the sins of the previous verse} and not having changed their thinking   {reversion recovery - repented} 'over the function of the Phallic Cult '   {akatharsia - immorality - specially group sex and sex in   idolatry in view here} both fornication/prostitution   {porneia - sex in idolatry} and lasciviousness   {aselgeia - frantic search for happiness through sex -   all types of illicit sex} . . . which they have practiced over and over. {Note: The authority of the pastor is a gift from God that is better not to have to be used. A calm relaxed message to a receptive audience is preferable - and it is embarrassing for the Pastor to have to use the authority - but sometimes it is necessary to get the message across!
