I Samuel

Chapter 25 (continued)
26~~"Now therefore my lord,
'as Jehovah/God lives/'by the life of Jehovah/God {by His essence}'
and 'as your own soul lives'/'by the life of your own soul
  {as a Super-grace believer}',
since Jehovah has restrained you from shedding blood
  {literally 'bloods' meaning he was going to kill more than one person}
and to deliver you from your own hand
  {David 'solving his problem' himself (vengeance is the Lord's)};
therefore, let your enemies
and the ones seeking to destroy my lord,
become as Nabal
  {meaning become fools}."

{Principal of Blessing by Association with SuperGrace David}
27~~"And now let this blessing
  {Nabal's goods that should have been in payment for David's
  services}
which your 'female slave' {shiphchah}
has been caused to bring to my lord
be given/distributed to the warriors
under the tactical command {halak - Hithpael stem}
of my lord {'adown - means 'one in authority in a special area - but
  not absolute ruler' - David here}
  {who are under 'blessing by association' with David}.

{Abigail Assumes Full Responsibility for Nabal's Failure}
28~~"Please forgive the trespass of your female slave {'amah}
  {repeating that SHE is responsible so her husband and the other
  men are not killed}
for manufacturing {'asah - out of grace},
Jehovah/God will certainly manufacture
  {'asah - out of your SuperGrace}
  {'asah 'asah is very strong and certain}
- my lord David -
an enduring dynasty
  {the Davidic Dynasty will reign forever through his Greater Son -
  Jesus Christ}.
Because the battles of Jehovah/God
are my lord fighting . . .
and evil/reversionism
  {killing Nabal would be a step toward reversionism}
has not been discovered in you all of your days,
since you took command at the cave of Adullam.

{Note: A SuperGrace believer {Abigail} is 'reminding' David of things he already knows - the battle is the Lord's. David will recognize doctrine in her speech and spare Nabal.}

29~~"Though a man {Saul}
keeps on being risen up
  {quwm - Abigail confirms that Saul's chase is not ended}
to pursue you and seek to destroy your life,
yet the soul of my lord is being bound up
in the bundle of lives
  {chay - plural form - SuperGrace blessings in many areas of life}
with Jehovah/God, your 'Elohiym/Godhead,
but, the souls of your enemies . . .
He will hurl/fire her
  {feminine form used here for 'his enemies' -
  it means in reversionism they have 'female souls' and are not really
  'men'}
from the loading zone' of the sling
  {sin unto death}."

{Note: In the ancient world, things of value were wrapped up in a bundle to protect that, which is of value. In SuperGrace, his life was of great value to the Lord. So, God will 'wrap' David up in all the categories of blessings in life. 'Lives' here refers to the categories of happinesses in life.}

30~~It shall come to pass {change in pace - new start}
when Jehovah/God shall have done/manufactured
  {'asah - out of grace}
according to all the good
  {towb - David's SuperGrace soul is valuable to God}
that he has promised/spoken {dabar}
concerning you, my lord,
and has appointed
  {God did in eternity past with results that are permanent}
you 'absolute ruler'
  {nagiyd - stronger then 'malak' meaning king - David will be a good
  ruler with full authority 'gracious dictator' is accurate - Jesus
  Christ will be the best ruler ever and He will be a 'perfect and
  absolute dictator' - dictator is only a negative word when the
  dictator is not spiritually mature - the best form of government is
  an enlightened dictator and the worst form is a tyrannical
  dictator.}
over Israel."

31~~That this shall become to you a stumbling block
 {puwqah - someone who truly causes you to stumble
  (not a patsy you blame your failures on). Here it means
  if David angrily murders Nabal and his men this would
  become a stumbling block for David when he becomes
  king with huge power - he might become a tyrant.},
nor 'cause of stumbling' {mikshowl - the motivation to abuse
 his power - mental attitude sins}
of the 'right lobe'/heart of my lord/'adonay,
either that you have shed blood without a cause
  {murder for welshing on a debt is excessive - violence
  here is an abuse of power},
or that my lord/'adonay has avenged himself
  {principal of "battle is the Lord's" }
but when Jehovah/God shall have caused good
to my lord/'adonay {David},
then 'remember in love'
 {zakar - means her advice - remember again when you
  are a benevolent dictator she is NOT begging for favors
  when he is king}
your female slave {'amah}.

32~~And David said to Abigail {the gist is given here},
"{You are} being blessed . . . of Jehovah . . .
'Elohiym/Godhead of Israel . . .
Who sent you this day to meet me."

{Note: All of her blessings come from the doctrine in her soul. God blesses the vessels holding His divine viewpoint.}

33~~"And being blessed . . . by your discernment/advice { ta`am}
  {Abigail's divine viewpoint made David recall his own doctrine and
  that he was making a subjective wrong decision in killing Nabal -
  objectively he said he was putting it in the hands of the Lord -
  THEN went to kill himself! This is blessing of one SuperGrace
  believer by another SuperGrace believer - David realizes she is
  correct!},
are you blessed {Abigail},
who has restrained me
this day from bloodshed,
and from delivering myself with my own hand."

34~~"For in very deed,
as Jehovah . . . 'Elohiym/Godhead of Israel lives {chay},
Who has 'restrained me from causing sorrow' to you
  {mana` - not a restraint from violence but in causing grief to the
  wife},
except you had hurried and come to meet me,
otherwise surely there would not have been left any men
  {idiom: literally 'any who piss against the wall' - men do this}
to Nabal by the morning light.

35^^So David kept on taking from her {Abigail} hand
that which she had brought him,
and said unto her,
"Go up in peace to your house.
See, I have 'listened, concentrated and obeyed' {shama'}
to your voice,
and accepted your face/presence {paniym}
  {means David accepted her payment and will no longer kill her
  husband and his adult males}."

36~~Then Abigail returned to Nabal {her fool of a husband}
and, behold, he held a 'drinking banquet' in his castle . . .
  {mishteh - everyone ties on a drunk}
like the 'drinking banquet' of a king.
And Nabal's was 'mentally high'
  {idiom: literally "his 'right lobe'/heart was good upon him"}
for he was very intoxicated {shikkowr - the sin of drunkenness}.
Therefore she told him 'no intelligence report', small or great,
  {a great believer - knew when to talk and knew when not to talk}
until the morning light.

{Note: See Psalm 14:3 for more on this party. David (probably with Abigail) wrote Psalm 14 to her fool of a husband.}

{Nabal Goes into Shock and then Dies in Verse 38}
37~~And, it came to pass in the morning,
when the wine was gone out of Nabal {sobering up - detoxified},
and his wife had told him these things,
that his heart died within him
  {massive shot of adrenaline - Neutrogenic shock},
and he became as a stone {immobilized in shock}.

{Nabal is Taken By The Lord}
38~~And it came to pass about ten days after,
 that Jehovah/God struck Nabal
  {nagaph - this means struck him with cardiac arrest or a disease of
  some sort}
and he died.

{David's Intelligence (G2) System Reports Death of Nabal}
39~~And when David heard and understood {shama'}
that Nabal had died, he said,
"Being blessed . . . {am I David by God}.
Jehovah/God,
Who has taken up the cause
of my reproach/scorn {not paying a valid debt to David}
from the hand of Nabal,
therefore He has restrained {by using Abigail's speech}
His servant {David} from evil {ra'}.
For Jehovah/God has caused to return
the evil {ra'} of Nabal upon his own head."
And David 'sent {an assistant} on a definite mission'
  {the custom of the day to take a wife}
and proposed/'communicated categorically' {dabar}
to Abigail, to 'passionately take' her to himself
to be his woman/wife {ishshah}.

{Note: David does not wait for the Taboos of proper society. He learns of the death of Nabal and immediately calls for her to marry him. David is a man after God's own heart. So was this wrong? No evidence that he was in this case.}

40~~And when the servants of David
'came straight to' Abigail to Carmel,
they spoke unto her, saying,
"David sent us unto you,
to take you passionately to him to wife."

41~~And she arose {stood straight up first},
and bowed herself on her face {polite humble posture of the day}
to the earth and said,
"Behold, your female servant {'amah}
a female slave {shiphchah}
to wash the feet of the servants of my lord."

{Note: If a woman is not willing to be 'the slave' of her right man, he is not your right man. When a woman understands this is the man of her life, she will be very happy to serve him. Then he also will love her and treat her with great respect if he is truly a Noble Man.}

42~~And Abigail hurried, and mounted,
and rode upon an ass,
accompanied by five damsels in waiting who attended her;
Consequently, she followed David's messengers,
and became his woman/wife.

{Note: RBT seriously says that women who are expected to have children should have domestics to care for the baby, take care of the house, take care of her personal needs, and even to cook a steak for the ol man. Maybe this is a problem in today's society. My experience says he is correct.}

{David's Polygamy}
43~~David already had taken
Ahinoam {name means 'pleasantness' - she was a good time girl}
of Jezreel . . . and they both became his wives.

{Note: With Michal still being his wife, add Abigail and Ahinoam and now David has three wives. Per Deuteronomy 17:17, the new king of Israel should not have multiply wives so David clearly has violated the Word of God in taking a second wife etc.}

{Saul's Vindictiveness}
44~~For Saul had given Michal his daughter, David's wife,
to Phalti, the son of Laish, who was of Gallim.
  {Phalti name means 'delivered' - but means David (not Phalti) was
  delivered FROM a reversionist woman - Michal - David's wife}

{Note: Saul in reversionism tries to hurt David.}
