23~~
Can the Ethiopian 'wash the blackness from his skin'?
{Idiom - literally 'change his skin' - refers to the
degenerate gentiles - all black}
Or
the leopard . . . {wash off} his spots?
{refers to the Jews who have little black stains and getting
as bad as the gentiles}
If
this {Ethiopian leopard change their appearance}
could
happen {phrase required by Hebrew syntax},
then
you {Konia} might be able to be caused
to
do 'divine good' . . .
you
who are accustomed to doing evil.
{Note: If you reject doctrine and reject doctrine over and over, you build up so much scar tissue on the soul that you can reach a point of no return. Some are trying to sublimate in partying, fast crowd, idolatry.}

24-25: Administration of 5th Cycle of Discipline}
24-25~~"Therefore
I will cause them to be disbursed
as
the stubble {part of the wheat that is not edible -
separated from the good edible part}
that
blows away from
the
wind of the desert
{strong east wind off the Arabian desert}. 25~~
This
is your destiny . . .
your
part/section of the carpet from Me,"
said
the Jehovah/God;
"because
you have disregarded/neglected/forgotten Me,
and
trusted in falsehood/'those who deceive and disappoint'."
{Note: God's plan for believers is the carpet. One side is total misery and slavery to the details of life. Here Konia and the people chose to live/stand on the wrong side of the carpet - called apostasy, idolatry, unfaithfulness. The other part of the carpet is grace and blessing - if you choose for God!}

26-27 Wages of Fornication}
26~~"Therefore
{because you have forgotten God}
I
will make you naked . . .
skirts
over your face {describes violent rape}!
that
your shameful actions {fornication} may be observed by others."
{Note: Fornication where volition is involved means to end up with fornication where volition is not involved. Rape is also analogous to the 5th Cycle of Discipline.}
27~~"
I {God} have seen
{from verse 26 we see others will also now see}
your
fornication in idolatry' {ni'uph},
and
your 'loud screams and groans in group sex orgies' {matshalah},
the
incest {zimmah} of your 'fornication for fun' {z@nuwth}
{zimmah - could refer to Konia and his mother sexually together
since both were mentioned},
and
your 'filthy garments from sex orgies' {shiqquwts}
on
the hills . . .
{and}
. . . in the fields {where the Phallic Cult was practiced}.
Sorry/unhappiness
to you, O Jerusalem!
Will
you not 'rebound and build an edification complex of the soul'?
{idiom - literally is 'be made shinny clean?' Clean is rebound,
shine is to reflect divine viewpoint from the Light of the Lord -
all requires doctrine in your soul! So this is a Grace appeal from
God even at this late date - rebound and take in doctrine!}
After
how long a time yet? {Last call to get back into God's plan}
{Note: Zimmah is always used for some abnormal form of sex - idolatry, homosexuality, bestiality - probably incest here. The Ethiopian can not wash the color from his skin, but GOD can do it for him! Same with the leopard! Grace can accomplish the impossible!}
