a woman is about to give birth

keeps on having sorrow/pain {lupe}
because
her hour/time {of delivery} has come,
but
at the point her child is born,
she
no longer remembers the pressure {thlipsis}
{on her while giving birth}
because
of the joy/'inner happiness' {chara}
that
a 'male child'/'human being' {anthropos}
has
been born into the cosmos/world."
22~~"On
the one hand, you now have sorrow {lupe},
but,
on the other hand,
I
will have a panoramic view {horao} of you again,
and
your hearts/'right lobes' will rejoice {chairo},
and
no one will take your joy/'inner happiness' {chara}
no
one lifts up and takes it away from the ultimate source of you."

that day {Church Age}

all will absolutely NOT {ouk} interrogate {erotao}
Me
for anything!
{idiom - literally is 'not pray nothing' - double negative
is VERY strong negative in the Greek - prayers do NOT go to
Jesus Christ in Church Age}.
Point
of Doctrine/'verily verily' {amen amen}
I
say {lego} unto you - to your advantage -
if
you ask/pray {aiteo} the Father in My Name
-
maybe you will ask the Father in Jesus' Name, maybe you will not -
He
{God the Father} will give you."
{Note:
In the Church Age, Jesus speaks to us ONLY through His Word. We now
have it in writing so the temporary gifts are no longer operative.
And, Jesus says all prayer is to be addressed to the Father and
offered in His Name (this is because He is our High Priest and
represents us in heaven before the Father).}
{Note:
In the past dispensation it was ok to interrogate (erotao) Jehovah
(which often was Jesus Christ) directly. In the Church Age, we use
'aiteo' meaning to ask or pray to God the Father. God the Father
answers all prayers answered.}
24~~"Up
to this moment
you
have asked for absolutely nothing {ouk}in My Name
{the disciples asked Him directly}.
Keep
on asking/praying {aiteo}
and
you will receive it,
for
the purpose that the joy/'inner happiness' {chara} of you
'may
be filled to completion'/'may fill up a deficiency'/
'may
fully influence'/'may be filled with a certain quality'
{pleroo - all meanings apply here}.
25~~
"These things {mystery doctrines about the Church Age}
I
have communicated/taught {laleo}
-in
the past with results that last forever - to you
by
means of analogy {paroimia}.
The
hour/time {limited portion of time} is coming
when
I will no longer speak to you by means of analogy,
but
will 'send back word from the ultimate source' {of heaven}
{this refers to Christ sending the New Testament Scriptures from
heaven}
'without
any misunderstanding' concerning the Father."
{Note:
Paroimia: para - 'along side' oimia: words: So it means to put a
word by a word - in order to teach doctrine - example 'I am a vine,
you are the branches'. Paroimia has three concepts: analogies,
illustrations, and parallels (translated parables or proverbs).}

Age Priests Pray Directly to the Father}
26~~"At
that hour/time
you
will ask/pray {aiteo}
in
My Name {all prayer is now offered in the Name of Jesus Christ.
all prayer is offered through a priest. We are all priests
in the Church Age. And it is our High Priest Jesus
Who presents it to the father}
-
to your advantage.
And,
I absolutely do not {ouk} say/promise {lego}
that
I will 'make a petition face to face with' {erotao}
the
Father on your behalf
{Jesus is straightening out the disciples. We have a direct
approach to the Father. The prayers go directly to the Father in
the Name of the Son, but Jesus does not run to God the Father
with each prayer. The prayers go directly to the Father -
Hebrews 4:16}."
{Note:
Aiteo is a prayer word. It means to make a petition of someone who
is not present. This describes prayer in the Church Age. The Father
is said to be in heaven and Jesus is seated at His right hand. So
they are referred to as not being on earth, though deity is always everywhere.}
{Note:
This verse is one of emphasis. Jesus does offer face-to-face
intercessory petitions on our behalf - Hebrews 7:25. God the Holy
Spirit offers intercessory petitions on our behalf - Romans 8:26-27.
And, here God the Father receives directly prayers from the believer priests.}
27~~
"For the Father Himself keeps on 'rapport loving' {phileo} you,
because
you have 'rapport loved' {phileo} Me
-
in the past and with results that continue forever -
and
have believed
-
in the past and with results that continue forever -
that
I came from God
{not salvation here - is the faith rest technique}. "
{Note:
Believers are in Union with Christ. We share the righteousness of
God at the point of salvation. God loves His own righteousness. He
also loves the Son and His perfect righteousness. Once saved, He has
that same rapport love for us and His righteousness in us.}
28~~"I
{Jesus} came
out
from the Father {virgin birth of His humanity}
and
am come into the cosmos/world
{the Devil's kingdom to beat the devil at his strongest point}.
Again,
I am leaving the cosmos/world
and
go from one place to another
{poreuomai - from earth to heaven}
back
face to face with
{pros - plus the accusative - face to face with}
the
Father."

of the Disciples - Oh Now We Get it!}
29~~His
disciples said {lego} unto Him {Jesus},
"Look,
now You are speaking plainly
and
no longer in analogy {paroimia}!"
{Note:

we have inherent knowledge
that
You have inherent knowledge of all {things - all doctrine}
{now we know that You know! Pretty amazing that after 3 years
they decide this!}
and
absolutely do not {ouk} need anyone
to
'petition of You face to face' {erotao} anything.
By
this, we believe
that
You have come from the ultimate source of God."

Sarcastic Response}
31~~
Jesus 'had an answer'/'gave a discerning answer
from
the ultimate source of Himself' {apokrinomai},
"Do
you now believe? {really??? After all this time??}"
{Note:
Apokrinomai is a compound verb . . . a preposition from the ultimate
source . . . giving a discerning answer based on knowledge. Krino
means: 'to judge'. Krinomai means: 'to be discerning in an answer'.
Thus, the full meaning of 'apokrinomai' is: "to give a
discerning answer from the ultimate source of ones self."}
{Note:
Jesus is sarcastically saying, so you believe do you? Well get
ready! You 'believe' but will Fall Flat on Their Faces' - next verses.}
32~~
"Look, hour/'short period of time' is coming
-
yes, it has come {it is here - it is ON us!} -
with
the result that
you
will be 'defeated and dispersed/scattered' {skorpizo}
{subjunctive mood - John will stay with Christ at the cross -
a potentially only},
each
one {of them personally} to his own {idios} home,
and
I will be left alone.
Yet
I am not alone,
because
My Father is with Me."
{Note:
Skorpizo - from which we get scorpion, means to be 'defeated and
dispersed'. In two hours the disciples will be running under the
pressure of Jesus' arrest.}
{Note:
Idios means 'your own'. It is the word from which we get idiot. The
mixed up disciples are off to their idios homes!}
33~~"
These things I have communicated/taught {laleo}
unto
you - for your advantage -
for
the purpose that . . . in Me . . .
you
may have 'inner happiness'/peace {eirene}
{meaning Jesus is their example for how to keep an RMA under all
pressures}.
In
the cosmos/world,
you
shall have and hold {echo} trouble/suffering {thlipsis}.
But
keep on having confidence {tharseo},
I
{Jesus} have conquered the cosmos/world/'cosmic system'."
