Events Connected with the 2nd Advent}
{Verses
1:-2: Judgment of Baptism of Fire}
1a~~"For,
behold, the day comes {2nd Advent of Christ},
that
shall burn {ba`ar}
{ba`ar - most intense burning that is continuous}
as
an oven."
1b~~"And
all the proud {zed}
{unbelievers whose pride is involved in the fact that
they accept human good as the basis for salvation}
yes,
and all that do wickedly {rish`ah}
{unbelievers who allow the Old Sin Nature rule their lives},
shall
be stubble {qash}
{stubble burns up completely and easily in the fire}."
{Unbelievers}
1c~~"And
the day that comes shall burn them up,"
said
the Jehovah/God of the Army/hosts,
"that
it shall leave them neither root
{unbelievers total removal from the earth at the 2nd Advent}
nor
branch
{utter destruction - gone - nothing remaining to even graft on
another tree}."

{Believers}
2a~~"But
unto you that revere My name
{idiom: for believers}
shall
the Sun of Righteousness
{title for the Lord Jesus Christ which came from Jeremiah 23:5,6
and 8 - this is the Lord at His 2nd Advent}
arise
with healing {marpe'} in His wings
{represents security, salvation, and deliverance from 5th cycle of
discipline also - client nation status shall also be restored in
Millennium}."
2b~~"And
you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall
{idiom: for great prosperity. These calves receive special care
and feeding so they become very fat}."
{Verses
3: Battle Victory of 2nd Advent}
3a~~"And
you shall tread down {`acac}
{`acac - used for trampling grapes into wine and used for great
victory on a battle field}
the
wicked {believers will be victorious}.
3b~~"For
they shall be ashes
under
the soles of your feet
{much slaughter of the unbelievers in the Armageddon campaign}
in
the day that I shall manufacture/do {'asah} this,"
said
the Jehovah/God of the Army/hosts.
{Verse
4-5: The Heralds of the 2nd Advent}
4~~"You
remember {zakar}
{zakar means you learned it before, you forgot it, so learn it
again - the command here is 'learn doctrine' no more prophets
until John the Baptist in over 400 years from now}
the
law of Moses - My servant -
which
I commanded unto him in Horeb
{mountain range where Mt Sinai is a part}
for
all Israel,
with
the statutes and judgments."
{Note: The first prophet was Moses. All the Old Testament scrolls started with Moses' writing and is often called 'the law' (torah) or the Law of Moses. The reference here is to study all the Word of God.}
5~~"Behold,
I will send you Elijah the prophet
{Elijah will return before the 2nd Advent}
before
the coming of the great
{for those who are saved, this is a great day}
and
dreadful day
{dreadful for the unbelievers going to the Lake of Fire}
of
Jehovah/God."
{Note: John the Baptist was the herald of Christ at His 1st Advent. RBT says the heralds of the 2nd Advent were two Jews - Moses and Elijah. See also Revelation 11:3.}
{Verse
6: Evangelism Prior to 2nd Advent}
6~~"And
he {Elijah} shall 'cause to turn'/convert
{convert them to be believers}
the
right lobe/heart of the fathers to the children,
and
the right lobe/heart of the children to their fathers
{means in the tribulation, children will betray parents to the false
prophet/church and fathers will betray children to save their own
lives - the two witnesses will evangelize and save many - thereby
changing the betrayal to mental strength},
that
I do not come and smite the land
with
cherem/'an unredeemable curse' {cherem}."
