Deuteronomy
Chapter
10
1
At that time Jehovah/God said unto me,
Hew
you two tables of stone like unto the first,
and
come up unto Me into the mount,
and
make you an Ark of wood.
2
And I will write on the tables
the
words/'doctrinal communications' {dabar}
that
were in the first tables which you broke,
and
you shall put them in the Ark.
3
And I made an Ark of Shittim/Acacia wood,
and
hewed two tables of stone like unto the first,
and
went up into the mount, having the two tables in My hand.
4
And he wrote on the tables,
according
to the first writing,
the
Ten Commandments,
which
Jehovah/God spoke unto you
in
the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
And
Jehovah/God gave them unto me.
5
And I turned myself and came down from the mount,
and
put the tables in the Ark which I had made;
and
there they be,
as
Jehovah/God commanded me.
6
And the children of Israel
took
their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera.
There
Aaron died, and there he was buried;
and
Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office
in
his place/stead.
7
From there they journeyed unto Gudgodah;
and
from Gudgodah to Jotbath,
a
land of rivers of waters.
8
At that time Jehovah/God
separated
the tribe of Levi,
to
bear the Ark of the Covenant
of
Jehovah/God,
to
stand before Jehovah/God
to
minister unto Him,
and
to bless in His Name,
unto
this day.
9
Wherefore Levi has no part nor inheritance with his brethren;
Jehovah/God
is his inheritance,
according
as Jehovah/God your Elohiym/Godhead
promised
him.
10
And I stayed in the mount,
according
to the first time,
forty
days and forty nights;
and
Jehovah/God 'hear, listen and obeyed' {shama'}
unto
me at that time also,
and
Jehovah/God would not destroy you.
11
And Jehovah/God said unto me,
Arise,
take your journey before the people,
that
they may go in and possess the land,
which
I swore unto their fathers
to
give unto them.
{Jesus
Tells us the Number One Commandment
is in this Verse (Love God)}
12-13And
now, Israel,
what
does Jehovah/God your Elohiym/Godhead
require
of you . . .
but
to fear Jehovah/God your Elohiym/Godhead . . .
to
Walk in all His Ways . . .
and
to love Him . . .
and
to serve Jehovah/God your Elohiym/Godhead
with
all your heart/'right lobe'
and
with all your soul
{Love God is the Number ONE commandment!}. . .13
to
guard/keep the commandments of Jehovah/God,
and
His statutes,
which
I command you this day for your good?
14
Behold, the heaven
and
the heaven of heavens
is
Jehovah/God's your Elohiym/Godhead,
the
earth also,
with
all that therein is.
15
Only Jehovah/God had a delight
in
your fathers to love them,
and
He chose their seed after them,
even
you above all people, as it is this day.
16
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart/'right lobe',
and
be no more stiff-necked
{negative to God and His Word}.
{Note:
This is the True circumcism. The physical one TEACHES the spiritual one.}
17
For Jehovah/God your God
is
'Elohiym/Godhead of 'elohiym/gods,
and
Lord of lords,
a
great 'El/God, a mighty, and a terrible,
Who
regards not persons,
{means under His system of justice all creatures are
treated equally}
nor
takes reward.
18
He {God} does execute the judgment
of
the fatherless and widow,
and
loves the stranger,
in
giving him food and raiment.
19
Love you therefore the stranger.
For
you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
{Note:
Jesus told us that this is the 2nd Commandment. Love your neighbor
as you love yourself.}
20
You shall fear Jehovah/God your 'Elohiym/Godhead;
Him
shall you serve,
and
to Him shall you cleave,
and
swear by His Name.
21
He is your praise,
and
He is your 'Elohiym/Godhead,
Who
has done for you these great and terrible things,
which
your eyes have seen.
22
Your fathers went down into Egypt
with
threescore and ten {70} people.
And
now Jehovah/God your 'Elohiym/Godhead
has
made you as the stars of heaven for multitude.
