Leviticus
Chapter 18
1-2~~And
Jehovah/God spoke categorically {dabar}
unto
Moses, saying {'amar}, 2~~
"Speak
unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
I
am Jehovah/God your Elohiym/Godhead."
3~~"After
the doings of the land of Egypt,
wherein
you 'dwelt permanently in blessings'
{yashab - meaning that God was with them},
shall
you not manufacture
{'asah - out of negative volition to God and His Word}
after
the doings of the land of Canaan
{Canaanites practiced the phallic cult - refers to
moving to idolatry, fornication and human sacrifice},
where
I bring you,
shall
you not do/manufacture {'asah}.
Neither
shall you 'walk about' {yalak}
in
their ordinances
{doctrines contrary to the Word of God}."
4~~You
shall do/manufacture
{'asah - from positive volition}
My
judgments, and keep My ordinances,
to
'walk about' {yalak} in them.
I am Jehovah/God your Elohiym/Godhead."
5~~"You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments.
Which
if a man does/manufacture
{'asah - to manufacture from omething else},
he
shall also live {chayay} by them.
I am Jehovah/God."

6-12: No Sex with Immediate Relatives}
6-12~~"
None of you shall approach
to
any that is near of kin to him,
to
uncover their nakedness.
{idiom refering to sexual intercourse - see more on the topic

I am Jehovah/God. 7~~
The
nakedness of your father,
or
the nakedness of your mother,
shall
you not uncover.
She
is your mother . . .
you
shall not uncover her nakedness. 8~~
The
nakedness of your father's wife {step-mother}
shall
you not uncover . . .
it
is your father's nakedness. 9~~
The
nakedness of your sister,
the
daughter of your father,
or
daughter of your mother {sisters or step-sisters},
whether
she be born at home, or born abroad,
even
their nakedness you shall not uncover. 10~~
The
nakedness of your son's daughter,
or
of your daughter's daughter,
even
their nakedness you shall not uncover.
For theirs is your own nakedness. 11~~
The
nakedness of your father's wife's daughter,
begotten
of your father,
she
is your sister,
you
shall not uncover her nakedness. 12~~
You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's sister.
She is your father's near kinswoman."

13-16: No Sex with Near Relatives}
13-16~~"You
shall not uncover the nakedness
of
your mother's sister {aunt}
for
she is your mother's near kinswoman. 14~~
You
shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother,
you
shall not approach to his wife.
She is your aunt. 15~~
You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter in law.
She is your son's wife.
You shall not uncover her nakedness. 16~~
You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother's wife.
It is your brother's nakedness."
{Prohibition
against Orgies with Related Women}
17~~"You
shall not uncover the nakedness
of
a woman and her daughter
{orgy with a woman and her daughter},
neither
shall you take her son's daughter
or
her daughter's daughter,
to
uncover her nakedness
{orgy with a woman and her grand-daughter}.
For they are her near kinswomen.
It is lewd/wickedness {zimmah}.
{Prohibition
against Orgies with Wife and Sister}
18~~
Neither shall you take a wife to her sister,
to
distress/'bind up' {tsarar - emotionally or physically} her
{pandering a wife to entice her sister to join you in sex/lesbianism},
to
uncover her nakedness,
beside
the other in her life time.
{Prohibition
against Sex with a Woman During Her Period}
19~~
Also you shall not approach unto a woman
to
uncover her nakedness,
as
long as she is put apart for her uncleanness {monthly period}.
{Prohibition
against Adultery with your Neighbor's Wife}
20~~
Moreover you shall not lie carnally
with
your neighbor's wife,
to
defile yourself with her."
{Prohibition
against Human Sacrifice in Idolatry - Specifically Their Children}
21~~
"And you shall not give {nathan}
any
of your seed/children
to
pass through the fire to Molech
{child sacrifice in idolatry}.
Neither
shall you keep on dishonoring {chalal}
the
Name/Reputation of your Elohiym/Godhead.
I am Jehovah/God."
{Prohibition
against Homosexuality - See also Romans 1:27-28}
22~~"You
will not have sex with a male,
as
{those who have sex}
with
a woman.
It is an abnormality/abomination."
{Prohibition
against Sex with Animals (Bestiality)}
23~~"
Neither shall you keep on giving {nathan} yourself
to
lie with any beast to defile { tame' } yourself therewith.
Neither
shall any woman stand before a beast
to
lie down thereto.
It is perversion/confusion {tebel}."
24~~" Defile not you yourselves in any of these things.
For
in all these the nations {Canaanite Nations in view}
are
defiled which I {God} cast out before you."
25~~"And the land is defiled.
Therefore
I {God} do visit the iniquity thereof upon it,
and
the land itself vomits out her inhabitants."
{Note: Verses 20-25 is what the inhabitants of the Promised Land were doing and is one reason why all the residents and animals of Jericho had to die in Joshua 6. It was to protect the rest of the human race that might destroy itself if this culture was allowed to continue.}
26~~"You
shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments,
and
shall not commit any of these abominations.
Neither
any of your own nation,
nor
any stranger that sojourns/'dwells temporarily' among you."
27~~"For
all these abominations have the men of the land done,
which
were before you, and the land is defiled."
28~~"
That the land spew you not out also,
when
you defile it,
as
it spewed out the nations that were before you."
29~~"For
whosoever shall commit any of these abominations,
even
the souls {nephesh} that commit them
shall
be cut off from among their people."
30~~"
Therefore shall you keep My ordinance,
that
you commit not any one of these abominable customs,
which
were committed before you,
and
that you defile not yourselves therein.
