1992 Ephesians

Chapter 6

1. Children (in the process of learning) [ta+teknon] keep on obeying [hupakauo] your parents, because of the Lord [en+Kurios]; for this is [houtos+eimi] the right thing [eimi+dikaios] to do (integrity) {Exodus 20:12}

2. Respect (honor) [timao] your father and your mother; which is the first commandment with a promise attached;

3. So that your life may turn out (become) well with you and you shall have a long +H life on the earth.

4. And you parents (fathers), stop provoking your children to anger: but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord [Kurios].

5. Christian labor obey [hupakouo] those human beings [kata+sarxz] (blood and flesh) who have authority over you with respect for authority [meta+phobos] and maximum effort with quality [tromos] without ulterior motive [en+aplotes] by means of noble motivation (by means of integrity in your right lobe) [kardia+su] as to Christ [hos+toi+Christos].
 
6. Not on the basis of [me+kata] eye service [ophthalmodoulia] (attracting attention to one's self) as men pleasers [anthropareskos], but as [alla+hos] servants of members of Christ [doulos+Christos] as servants constantly executing the plan (will) [poieo+thelema] of God [tou+Theos] by means from your own soul [ek+psuche].

7. With good motivation (thinking) [meta+eunoia] keep serving [douleuo], as to the Lord [hos+toi+Kurios], and not to men [kai+anthropos] (not the praise of mankind; dead works).

8. Obey because you know [hoti+oida] that each one [hekastos] (B+ in the CA generation) if [ean] for this [houtos] he does anything [poieo] of divine (intrinsic) good [tis+agathos] he himself will be rewarded [komiza] from the Lord [para+Kurios] (with interest), whether he is [eite..eite] slave or [doulos] a free person [eleutheros] (escrow).

9. And, Christian management [kai+hoi+Kurios] be doing [poieo] the same [ta+autos] things to them (labor) [pros+autos] under your jurisdiction, stop bullying [aniemi] or unjustly treating [ten+apeili], knowing that [oida+hoti] both [kai...kai] their Lord [ho+Kurios] and yours [autos+su] (Jesus Christ, the Lord of management) is [eimi] in heaven [ouranos] (supreme court), and there is no [eimi+ouk] partiality or prejudice [prosopolepsia] associated with Him [para+autos].

10. From now on [tou+loipou] {Colossians 4:1} (grace in action), my brethren (B+'s) start becoming strong [endunamoo] by means of the Lord [eni+Kurios], and by the [kai+en+toi] power [kratos] of His omnipotence [autos+ischus].

11. Pick up [enduo] and put on [autos] (you equipment stacked properly near you) the full armor [ten+panoplia] from the rack of God [tou+Theos], so that [pros+to+dunamai] you might [su] always be able to stand your ground [histemi] against [pros+methodia] the strategies which belong to the devil [diabolos] (Defense only, never go on the offensive with Satan).

12. Because of [hoti] our spiritual warfare [he+pale+ego] (combat) is not [eimi+ouk] against blood and flesh (mankind) [pros+haima+sarxz] but against ruler angels [alla+pros+arche] (abaddon, apoyllon, beelzebub, beelzeel), against the demon officer corps (generals) [exzousia] (authorities); against the rulers of the cosmos [kosmokrator] (world/power rulers - Satan's demon ambassadors in world capitals), of the darkness of this world, against spiritual [pneumatikos] forces of evil (rank and file fallen angels - demons) in the heavenlies (courtroom) [en+epouranios] {Ephesians 3:10, Matthew 25.41 and Revelation 20.10}.

13. Therefore pick up and put on the full armor from the rack of God, that you may be able to hold your ground in the evil day, even after you have every thing {1 Timothy 4:1} to hold your ground {James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8-9}.

14. Therefore [oun] hold your ground [histemi], after you have buckled [perizonnumi] your combat gear around the waist [ten+osphus] (the key was the baldric to hold the harness together) with truth and [en+altetheia] after you have put on [kai+enduo) the breastplate [tou+thoraxz] of integrity +R [dikaiosune];

15. And after you have put on combat boots [hupodeo+tous] on your feet with readiness to serve the Lord [en+hetamosia] to communicate the good news [tou+euaggelion] (gospel) of the reconciliation (peace) [tes+eirene];

16. With all these things [en+pas] (items of military equipment) pick up and carry the [analambano] shield [thureos] of faith [tes+pistis], by which [en+hos] shield you will be able [dunamai] to extinguish or intercept all the [sbennumi] flaming missiles [pas+ta+puroo+belos] of the evil one [tou+poneros].

17. And grasp with your hand [kai+dechomai] the helmet of [ten+perkephalia] salvation [to+soterios], and draw the sword of [kai+machaira = uaxaipa] of the Spirit [pneuma] which is the word from (of) God [hos+eimi+rema+Theos],

18. But by every prayer and petition {Ephesians 4.16} pray at all times by means of the Spirit and with reference to this pray at all times with this in view be alert in prayer for all saints (intercession) with persistence {Matthew 21.22; Psalm 118.24 - This is the day the Lord has made - let us rejoice and be in super abundance of happiness},

19. And also pray for me, that pertinent participators may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20. On behalf of [huper+hos] which gospel I am an ambassador [presbeuo] in chains [en+alusis], in order that [hina] with reference to it, I may [en+autos] speak fearlessly [parresiazomai] (total confidence of content) as it is necessary/proper f[hos+dei] for me to communicate (speak) [ego+laleo] as I ought to speak verbally.

21. Now (after reading this epistle) in order that [de+hini] you may also come to know (learned/realized) [kai+oida] about my circumstances (the things pertaining to me) and what I am doing [kata+ego+tis] or how I am getting along [prasso], Tychicus [Tuchikos] (Missionary report on Paul), the highly regarded brother and faithful minister [pistos+diakonos] for the Lord [en+Kurios], will reveal [gnorizo] (make known) everything (all things) to you.

22. Whom I have sent [pempo] face to face with you [pros+su] for this very (same) purpose [eis+hutos+autos], that you may come to know about the things [hina+ginosko] (our affairs), concerning us [ta+peri+ego] and that He might encourage (comfort, teach) [kai+parakaleo] your hearts [su+kardia] {Colossians 4:7-8}.

23. Harmony (Peace) [eirene] among B+'s [tois+adelphois] and virtue love [kai+agape] with doctrine, from God the Father and from our LJC.

24. (The most important part and message of this epistle) Grace [he+charis = xapis] among all [meta+pas] B+'s that love our LJC (in virtue love) with incorruptibility [SSE + SA + SM] (Capacity Righteousness) {Ephesians 1:2; 2:8-9}.

The groom and bride are partners for life, forsaking all others

Marriage shares a common name, all cares and trials in life

The mathematics of love should be the addition and multiplication of joy while subtracting and dividing of sorrows.

Marriage bond holds property and possessions in common, one destiny, one history in a partnership where there is both a senior and junior partner.
