Psalms Chapter 130 1a~~{Title}'A Psalm Going up the Steps of the Temple'   {shiyr ma`alah - referring 'meditation for going into Church/Temple'   on each step, the Psalmist would quote a verse, then move up to   the next step - a step at a time   it is literally translated 'A Song of Degrees'} 1b``Out of the depths have I called unto you, O Jehovah/God. 2``O Lord/ 'Adonay . . . listen to my cry . . . let Your ears be attentive to my plea for mercy. 3``If You, O Jehh/God, keep account of sins . . . O Lord/ 'Adonay, who shall stand? 4``Yours is the power to forgive . . . so that You may be held in awe/respect. 5``I wait/'look eagerly' for Jehovah/God . . . my soul does wait/'look eagerly'. And, in His Doctrine/Word . . . I am caused to 'have confident expectation'. {Illustration using Attentive Policemen doing their Jobs in the Darkness of the Morning} 6`` 'My soul'/I . . . {am more eager} for Lord/ 'Adonay . . . more than police/watchmen in the morning {watch attentively} . . . than police/watchmen in the morning   {doubling is VERY strong in the Hebrew}. 7`` O Israel 'eagerly anticipate' . . . Jehovah/God! {an order} For Jehovah/God . . . {is} grace {checed}. And {He} causes to increase greatly . . . redemption. 8``And He shall redeem Israel from all his "guilt of iniquities/sins" {`avon}   {the punishment for any sin is death - but that guilt and   punishment of that sin and every other sin was imputed to Jesus   Christ, under His Own Free Will, and judged}.
