{Israel's
Rejection not Complete nor Final}
1_
I say then,
the
God has not repudiated {rejected} His people {Jews} has He?
Definitely
not!
For
I also am an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin.
2-3_
The God has not repudiated His people {Jewish believers}
whom
He has foreknown.
Or
do you not know what the scripture
says
about Elijah {I Kings 19:10,14}
when
he pleaded to the God against {indicted} Israel . . . 3_
Lord,
they have killed Your prophets,
they
have torn down Your altars.
In
fact,
I
am the only one left {said it true, but this is false},
and
they seek My life {true}.
4_
But what is the divine response to him {Elijah_ I Kings 19:18}?
I
have kept for Myself
a
pivot of seven thousand honorable people, who,
because
of their spiritual maturity,
have
not bowed a knee to Baal.
5_
Therefore, in the same manner also,
at
this present period of time {Church Age}
a
remnant {pivot} has come into existence
according
to an election {to privilege}
by
means of grace {G.A.P.}.
6_
Now, if by means of grace,
then,
logically, not by means of works.
Otherwise,
logically,
grace
is no longer grace in itself.
7_
Therefore, to what conclusion are we forced?
What
Israel is constantly seeking {salvation by works},
this
{salvation} it did not obtain.
But
the elect {believers} have obtained it,
and
the others {negative unbelieving Jews}
were
hardened {scar tissue of the soul, arrogance etc.}.
8_
Just as it stands written
{Isaiah 29:10; Deuteronomy 29:4; Isaiah 6:9,10},
the
God {Jesus Christ}
has
given to them {Jewish unbelievers and reversionistic believers}
a
state of mind of insensibility
{scar tissue of the soul from their own negative volition i.e.
arrogance},
eyes
for the purpose of not seeing {lack of concentration},
ears
for the purpose of not hearing {reception of material} . . .
until
this very day.
9-10~~
And David said,
"Let
their table be made a snare, and a trap . . .
and
a stumbling-block,
and
a recompense unto them. 10~~
Let
their eyes be darkened {negative volition},
that
they may not see {the Omega Glory of Christ - Rev 1:8},
and
bend their back forever {holocaust}."
11~~I
say then,
"They
did not stumbled so as to fall? No, definitely not!
But
by their apostasy,
the
salvation message belongs to the Gentiles . . .
in
order that they {the Jews} might be motivated to emulate."
12~~"Now
if their apostasy becomes the riches of the world
-
and it is -
and
if their failure became the riches of the Gentiles
-
and it did -
how
much more will their fullness?"
{Note:
Because a new principal developed called 'Manifest
Destiny'
. . . where true prosperity can be obtained. It is when you unite
landed aristocrats, factory owners, and an open frontier. Then you
can have prosperity if you obey the laws of establishment -
capitalism - and also send out missionaries, it can last a long time.
Rome set the record of about 200 years and the US will not match it
until about 2104 {from circa 1904}.}
13_
I am speaking to you, the Gentiles,
consequently,
inasmuch
as I am an apostle to the Gentiles,
I
am magnifying my ministry.
14_
If somehow I shall stimulate to emulation {Gentiles who believe}
my
flesh {Jew},
and
might save some of them.
15_
For if their rejection
{5th cycle to Israel in AD 70 and loss of Client Nation status}
has
become the reconciliation of the world
-
and it has -
what
will be their acceptance
{refers to the restoration of Client Nation status in Millennium}
but
from the dead
{future restoration of true Israel i.e. believers in Millennium}?
16_
Moreover,
if
the first fruits
{reference
to the pattern of true Israel_ Abraham, Isaac and Jacob}
are
holy,
the
entire batch of dough
is
also holy
{batch refers to the believing Jews of the Old Testament which is
true Israel}.
And
if the root {Lord Jesus Christ at 1st Advent}
is
holy {impeccability of Christ},
the
branches {Jewish believers in Church Age}
are
holy {through positional sanctification}.
17-18_
Moreover,
if
some of the branches were broken off
{Jewish unbelievers of Church Age},
and
you {Gentile believers of Church Age}
being
a wild olive tree,
have
been grafted in among them {Jewish believers of Church Age},
and
have become partners
of
both the root {in union with Christ}
and
prosperity
{logistical and Super Grace blessing to all Church Age believers}
of
the olive tree . . . 18_
stop
assuming arrogant superiority
over
the branches {Jewish unbelievers}.
Now
since you {saved Gentiles} are arrogant,
remember
that you do not sustain the root {Jesus Christ},
but
the root supports you {logistical grace/ faith-rest}.
19_
You will say then,
the
branches {Jewish unbelievers}
were
broken off,
in
order that,
I
{arrogant Gentile believer} might be grafted in.
20_
Quite right,
because
of unbelief,
they
{Israel of the past} were broken off,
because
you {Gentile believers} stand
because
of faith.
21`~For
in view of the fact that God did not spare the branches,
which
were according to nature,
neither
will He spare you.
22`~
Behold therefore God's benevolent kindness and His severity,
on
the one hand, upon those who fell, severity;
on
the other hand, upon you, God's benevolent kindness,
upon
the condition that you continue to remain in and abide by His
benevolent
kindness. Otherwise, also you will be cut out.
23`~
And, moreover, those also, if they do not remain in unbelief,
will
be grafted in, for God is able to again graft them in.
24`~
For, as for you, in view of the fact
that
you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature,
and
contrary to nature were grafted into the good olive tree,
how
much more will these, who are according to nature,
be
grafted into their own olive tree?
25`~
For I do not desire you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning
this mystery,
in
order that you may not be wise in yourselves,
that
hardening in part has come to Israel,
until
the fulness of the Gentiles has come in.
26`~And
thus all Israel shall be saved,
even
as it stands written,
There
shall come out of Zion the Deliverer,
and
shall turn ungodliness from Jacob.
27`~And,
this to them is the covenant
from
me when I shall take away their sins.
28-29`~On
the one hand, with reference to the gospel,
they
are enemies for your sakes:
on
the other hand, with reference to the selected-out ones
they
are the beloved ones for the fathers' sake 29`~
for
the gifts in grace and the calling of God
are
with respect to a change of mind irrevocable.
30-32`~
For, even as you formerly disbelieved God,
yet
now have been made recipients of mercy
through
the occasion of the unbelief of these, 31`~
thus
also these now have disbelieved
in
order that through the occasion of the mercy which is yours,
they
themselves also might now become the recipients of mercy, 32`~ for
God included all within the state of unbelief
in
order that He might have mercy upon all.
33`~
O the depth of the wealth and wisdom and knowledge of God!
How
unsearchable are His judgments,
and
how untraceable the paths He takes!
34`~For whoever knew the Lord's mind?
35`~Or
who has previously given to Him
and
will be recompensed to him?
Because
out from Him
and
through Him
and
for Him are all things.
To Him be the glory forever. Amen/I believe it.
