even while I was speaking in prayer,
even
the person {'iysh - actually the angel} Gabriel,
{Gabriel means 'hero of God' - he was Daniel's
teaching angel and a guardian angel - mentioned
twice in Luke}
whom
I had seen in the vision at the beginning,
being
caused to fly swiftly,
touched
me about the time of the evening oblation.

Daniel, I am now come forth
to
give you skill
and
cause you to understand."

The rest of the book of Daniel is a post graduate course in Jewish
History. It describes the Jewish age, skips over the Church Age, then
gives the Tribulation and finally the Millennium. Chapters 10 and 11
are the immediate and far view. Chapter 12 is the Tribulation and
Millennium. Verse 24 is the Summary/Resume. Then the details follow -
as is Jewish writing custom.}

Sent when Daniel Started His Prayers}
23~~"At
the beginning of your {Daniel's} prayers/supplications
the
commandment came forth {from God},
and
I am come to showed you;
for
you are greatly beloved.
Therefore
understand the matter,
and
consider the vision.

'seventy heptads/weeks' - therefore 70 x 7 = 490 'lunar years'
(360 days a year - the way years were counted before Julius
Caesar changed the calendar)}

been decreed
for
Your people
{490 more years of the 'Jewish Dispensation' - though not
sequential - will be 483 years to 30 AD then 7 more in the
Tribulation}
and
upon Your holy city {Jerusalem},
{the time starts when the city is restored NOT
when the temple is restored in 516 BC but in 445 BC when the
reconstruction of Jerusalem began}
{1}
to finish the transgression
{2nd Advent terminates 5th cycle of discipline},
and
{2} to make an end of sins
{baptism of fire - all unbelievers removed for Millennium},
and
{3} to make propitiatory covering over iniquity
{regathering of the Jews},
and
{4} to bring in everlasting righteousness,
and
{5} to seal up the vision and prophecy
{fulfillment of the unconditional promises to Israel},
and
{6} to dedicate the Holy of Holies
{Millennial temple}.
{Note:
Israel was given 490 lunar years (360 days each) as the client
nation to God (in 490 years, the 5 day difference between lunar and
our calendar 365 day years is almost exactly 7 years). God declared
that they take a sabbatical year every 7th year. They took zero out
of 70 potential ones. So, God 'gave' them 70 years off straight - in
slavery starting in BC 586. At BC 516, their 70 year period ended
because the new temple to God was finished. Now, God has promised
them another 490 lunar years as the client nation to God - with the
clock beginning again in BC 445 when the construction of the 'holy
city' began.}

from the issuing of the decrees

restore and to rebuild Jerusalem
unto
the Messiah the Prince

death - 30-32 AD}
will
be '483 lunar years'
{literally 'seven, and 62 weeks or 69 x 7 = 483'}
the
streets {of Jerusalem} shall be built again,
and
the moats {walls},
even
in times of distress.

increments of time 49 years + 434 = 483
or Daniel's first 69 weeks and then a break
for
the Church Age. Then 7 more years of the Tribulation}

after the 434/'62 weeks' have passed
{literally 'threescore and two weeks'}
then
Messiah will be cut off -
but
not for Himself
{for the sins of the World - not for Himself - April 6, 30 AD - best
estimate}-
and
the people
{Romans who destroy Jerusalem in 70 AD} -
of
the prince who is to come
{Dictator of the Revived Roman Empire in the Tribulation} -
shall
destroy the city {Jerusalem in 70 AD}
and
the sanctuary/temple {August AD 70};
and
the end
will
come like a flood.
Furthermore,
to the end . . .
{2nd 'end' - the end of the Jewish Age - 2nd Advent of Christ}
wars
and disasters are decreed.

Between Daniel 2 verses 40 and 41 we have 'The Great Parenthesis'.
This is the Church Age. It was a mystery to the Old Testament
Believers - the time of Judah's 5th cycle of discipline. This also
occurs in Daniel 7 between verses 23 and 24; Daniel 9:26 in the
middle of the verse (here); Daniel 11 between verses 35 and 36;
Psalms 22 between verses 22 and 23; and Isaiah 61 between 1 and 2.}
{Daniel's
70th week}
27~~And
He
{Dictator of the Revived Roman Empire}
shall
make a confirm covenant/treaty
with
the many
{meaning the Jews in the Tribulation}
for
7 years
{literally - one 'week'/'period of 7'}.
And
in the midst of the week
he
shall cause the sacrifice
and
the food offerings to stop.
And
under the protection of the abominations {ecumenical religion}
there
come one
{Beast Dictator of the Revived Roman Empire}
who
causes desolation
until
the end
{here means the end of the Tribulation},
then,
what is decreed {Lake of fire},
will
be poured out
on
the desolator.
{both Beast dictators go into the lake of Fire BEFORE
the Millennium - all other unbelievers wait 1000 years more}
