Hosea Chapter 11
1
When Israel . . . {was} a child {na`ar},
2
As they called them,
They
sacrificed unto Baalim . . .
3
I taught Ephraim also to go,
4
I drew them with cords of a man . . .
And
I was to them
5
He shall not return into the land of Egypt,
6
And the sword shall abide on his cities, 7 And My people are bent to backsliding from Me {reversionism}.
Though
they called them to the Most High . . . 8 How shall I give you up, Ephraim? How shall I deliver you, Israel? How shall I make you as Admah? How shall I set you as Zeboim?
My
heart is turned within Me . . . 9 I will not execute the fierceness of My anger. I will not return to destroy Ephraim.
For
I am 'Elohiym/Godhead . . . and not man . . . 10 They shall Walk after Jehovah/God. He shall roar like a lion.
When
He shall roar . . .
11
They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt . . . And I will place them in their houses, said Jehovah/God.
12
Ephraim compasses me about with lies,
But
Judah yet rules with 'Elohiym/Godhead,
