I will exalt You.
I will praise Your name.
For You has done wonderful things.
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
For You have made of a city an heap . . .
A palace of strangers to be no city.
It shall never be built.
Therefore shall the strong people glorify you,
For you has been a strength to the poor,
You shall bring down the noise of strangers,
Even the heat with the shadow of a cloud.
The branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
And in this mountain shall Jehovah/God of the armies/hosts
And he will destroy in this mountain
He will swallow up death in victory;
And it shall be said
have waited for him,
This is Jehovah/God.
We have waited for Him.
We will be glad and rejoice in His deliverance/salvation.
For in this mountain
And he shall spread forth His hands in the midst of them,
He shall bring down their pride together
And the fortress of the high fort of your walls
