{Why
do the Wicked Prosper?}

and only fair'/'just and only just'/
'righteous
and only righteous' {tsaddiyq} . . .
You
. . . O Jehovah/God,
if
I would complain {with You - and I do}
{Temporary disorientation to grace}
yuck/'only
this once',
I
will talk intensively with You of {Your} judgments/justice . . .
'what
is being known'/why {an interrogative of confusion}
the
way of 'the wicked'/
'those
with an unjust cause' {those plotting against Jeremiah}
prosper/flourish?
All
who - being treacherous,
keep
on being treacherous {treacherous of character and action}
-
enjoy prosperity.
{Note: Tsaddiyq was used for a king who was fair and his justice was fair. He was one who defended right causes. And, Jeremiah knows God is fair and only fair, so why is He letting these things happen?}
{Note: This verse is pointing out that sometimes the stable unbeliever is better off in TIME then the unstable believer. In eternity, this will be reversed of course - so make sure you understand it is only in TIME. If a believer rejects doctrine, he has an emotional revolt of the soul, scar tissue on the soul, and maybe even the sin unto death - and is pretty miserable. But if an unbeliever follows God's laws for establishment, he can be prosperous while alive. Where free enterprise exists, all kinds of people can prosper! These people are prosperous under the reign of the King Josiah.}
{The
Fairness of God}
2~~You
have 'planted'/established them
{meaning God gave them the doctrinal principals in Mosaic Law -
the rich soil of bible doctrine and the principal of free
enterprise},
also,
they have intensively 'taken root'/'established themselves'
{the plotters have benefited from the national system based on
God's Laws for establishment. By plotting against the system that
made them prosperous, they will destroy their own prosperity.}
also
they 'go upward'/grow
manufacturing
{'asah - from capital they manufacture}
fruit/production
{great prosperity in an apostate generation in view
here - they will eventually kill the system that created their
prosperity - but it takes time - they will try to solve the
world's problems with their money! Sound familiar?}.
You
. . . {are} 'near in their mouth'
{lip service to the Mosaic Law and God},
and
far from their 'reins'/emotions
{kilyah - emotional revolt of the soul}.
{Note: All revolutionists give lip service to the system they are operating under but emotionally they are against the system. They are prospering under God's laws of establishment, but desire to 'change' the system to their liberal ways. But, by moving away from God's laws, they will kill the Golden Goose under which they are prospering.}

in Falling in Love}
3~~But
You and only You . . . O Jehovah/God,
'know
from experience' {yada`} me {Category 1 Love for God}
{Jeremiah is all alone at this time - except for the Lord}.
You
have discerned {ra'ah} me
and
tested/'know the condition of' {bachan} my heart/'right lobe'
toward
You {Jeremiah has true love for God and God knows this}.
Cause
them {plotters/traitors} to be removed . . .
like
sheep for the slaughter,
and
'set them apart'/'sanctify them {for divine judgement}' {qadash}
for
the day of slaughter.
{Note:
This verse is a good application for the principal of anyone falling
in love:
a.
First stage of attraction - yada' - Know them from experience FIRST.
What do they like? What do they talk about? What is the color of
their hair, eyes . . . what do they eat on and on. Get to know them
fully first.
b.
Second stage of attraction - ra'ah - Next, discern the condition of
their soul. What is their character? What are the norms and standards
in the conscience of their soul? Are they stable or unstable? Discern
the right lobe/heart. To discern here means to remove the false face
that people show to strangers. This is 'what she looks like without
the makeup'!
c.
Third stage is bachan - to 'test for capacity'. To really know the
soul of the person and with excellent knowledge of the person - then
to truly fall in love with the real person - the soul.}
4~~How
long shall the land mourn,
and
the herbs of every field dry up {economic system crumbling},
because
of the wickedness
{soul wickedness - emotional revolt of the soul}
of
them that dwell therein?
Gone/destroyed
are the cattle and the fowl {sources of food},
because
they {wicked, prosperous apostate conspirators} said,
'He
{Jeremiah} shall not see/observe/discern
our
last end {the 5th cycle Jeremiah prophesized -
and this is in the feminine case - they are feminine in their
souls - the plotters are led by Jeremiah's right woman but
includes his family and friends.}'.

Proverbs}
5~~If
you have run swiftly with the footmen,
and
they have 'caused you to faint/'wearied you' - and you did -
how
then can you contend with horses?
{Means: if running with men makes you tried, what will happen
when you race with horses? The Anathoth conspiracy is bad, but
the Jerusalem conspiracy will be worse for Jeremiah}
And,
if in the land of prosperity,
you
keep on trusting {faith rested - maintained his level of maturity}
-
and you do -
how
then will you do/manufacture {'asah - out of pressures}
in
the glory/pride {lion country} of the Jordan
{anticipates Jeremiah's trip to Jerusalem - this area was dangerous
and known for the lions running free - Jerusalem will be like walking
into a lion's den}?
{Note: Jeremiah passed the test of pressures and passed the test of prosperity - which is usually a HARDER test to pass.}

6~~For
even your kinsmen/relatives/brothers/sisters
{immediate family},
and
the house of your father
{peripheral family - uncles, aunts, cousins, etc.},
even
they have dealt treacherously with you {Jeremiah}.
Yes,
they have 'incited a riot'/'called a multitude after you'
{betrayal - a mob sent to kill him}.
Believe
them not/'do not listen and depend on what they say',
though
they speak 'good things'/'fair words' unto you.
{Note: Slowly as Jeremiah became interested in the Word but his family did not, a rift occurred. Jesus said He was coming with a sword to separate families. This is that concept. And, you do not know a person by their words . . . or their deeds . . . only by what is in their souls.}
{Prophet's
Separation from His Right Woman}
7~~I
have forsaken {`azab}
my
house {Jeremiah's parents and brothers and sisters}.
I
have left/'cast off'/ rejected {natash}
my
'very own possession' {his right woman} in shattered pieces.
I
have given 'the dearly beloved of my soul' {Jeremiah's right woman}
into the 'palm of the hand' {kaph} of her enemies
{her 'enemies' mean any type of sublimation - over eating,
promiscuity, masturbation, bestiality, drinking on and on.
Whatever she does, she does not necessarily because she
wants to, but she HATES Jeremiah and wants to punish HIM.}.
{Note: Jeremiah's right woman has gone negative to God and doctrine. He cannot even pray for her to return - Jeremiah 11:14. She is heavily into fornication - sex in connection with idol worship. She is being unfaithful to God and her right man. 'Azab means to leave but leave the household in tact. Natash means to leave but leave her in broken pieces. So, his right woman never got over his leaving. She sublimated into all sorts of activities trying to fix what was broken in her soul - only doctrine could save her and she did not have it.}
8~~My
'very own possession'/heritage heritage {his right woman}
has
become to me like a 'lion in the thicket' {hidden attack}.
She
lifts up her voice against me,
therefore
have I hated her.
9~~The
'vulture and hyena' is
my
'very own possession'/heritage to me,
the
vultures round about are against her.
Come
ye, assemble all the hyenas come to devour.
10~~Many
shepherds/ pastors
{the clergy of the day - they should be teaching from the Word
but are instead 'teaching liberal human viewpoint'}
have
corrupted/destroyed {to the point of easy overthrowing}
My
{God's} vineyard {the nation Israel},
they
have 'trodden down'{contributed immeasurably to the downfall} My
{God's} portion
{reference to Right God/right people and right man/right woman},
they
have already given/'betrayed over'
the
'portion of My pleasure'
{Judea is God's right people and His pleasure same with Jeremiah
and his right woman}
unto
a sterile region of desolate waste.
{Note: It takes many pastors to destroy. It only takes ONE teacher (Jeremiah) to keep them straight - if they listen! That is the grace of God!}
11~~They
{conspirators in all three conspiracies}
have
established her {Judea}
a
desolation {in five areas}
and
she {Judea for God and Jeremiah's right woman for him}
mourns
for Me {God}.
All
the land . . . herself . . .
receives
desolation {reflexive - does this to herself},
because
no man had established it upon the heart/'right lobe'.
{Note:
RBT says the desolation in Judea at this time was in a number of areas:
a)
little remaining spiritually - involved in idolatry
b)
diluted the regular Jewish military beyond its ability
to protect their freedom
c)
destruction of free enterprise - economical desolation
d)
social decline - slavery
e)
emotional revolt of the soul}
12~~The
plunderers are come {Chaldean invasion}
upon
all the bare top hills of the desert
for
the sword of the Jehovah/God
{warfare sent/permitted by the Lord}
shall
devour from the one end of the land
even
to the other end of the land
{invading army will be totally victorious}.
And
there is NOT peace . . . unto all flesh {military conquest}.
{Note: The Jewish military has been discredited and is no longer able to protect the nation. Start with the budget. In times of peace, the military's budget is cut.}

Catastrophe Follows Decline of a Nations Military}
13~~
They have planted wheat {invested the capital}
{means the had the capital necessary for economic prosperity},
but
shall reap thorns {depression}
{some interference caused no prosperity - maybe socialism
or government interference}.
They
have worked themselves to the point of exhaustion . . .
{but}
shall not be caused to profit
{there is a connection between free enterprise and a strong
military - destroy your military and your economic prosperity
will disappear}.
And
they shall be disappointed {disturbed and jealous}
because
of your revenues {Jeremiah is successful still}
because
of the fierce anger of the Jehovah/God
{divine discipline when you violate divine principals}.
{Note: When the military is on the decline, good business people are worried about their assets and tend to leave to a more secure location. Once the businesses leave, the local economy suffers. The same happens when liberalism brings in socialism. Businesses are taxed to death and either die or move to a more favorable location. Socialism kills the goose that laid the golden egg.}
14~~Thus
said the Jehovah/God
against
all my 'Gentile nations/neighbors' . . . the evil ones,
{Egypt, Moab, etc.}
the
ones touching the inheritance
{Judea - referring to anti-Semitism}
which
I {God} have caused My people Israel to possess
{the Jews possessed the land by fighting for it - now others are
moving in}.
Behold,
I will pluck them out of their land,
and
pluck out the house of Judah
from
among them
{warning to Chaldean Empire that they will fall
because of anti-Semitism but the Jews will survive}.
{Prophecy
of Restoration of Judea}
15~~And
it shall come to pass,
after
that I {God} have plucked them out
{future administration 586 BC of Judea to 5th cycle of discipline}
I
will return
{God's promise that they would also be restored as a nation},
and
love them tenderly.
And
I {God} will cause to bring them again,
every
man to his possession
{the right man/right woman relationship will be restored},
and
every man to his land
{where he lives with his right woman}
{God causes this as divine judgment on the Chaldean
for anti-Semitism while Jews will be in captivity starting 586BC}.
16~~"And
it shall come to pass
{Hebrew way of stating a principal that relates to history . . .
and this is the equivalent of a 3rd class condition in Greek} ,
if
- maybe they will, maybe they will not -
they
{any Gentile Nation throughout history}
will
'learn the hard way/learn by discipline or punishment'
the
ways of My people . . .
{learn freedom and the importance of authority from the Jews},
'to
have stability in their people
based
on recognizing Jehovah/God lives and a relationship with Him'
{idiom: literally 'to swear by My name . . .
as the Jehovah/God lives'}.
As
they taught My people to swear by Baal {idolatry}.
Then
shall they receive construction/building
{banah - constructing something}
because
of the 'middle of My people'
{refers to the 'salt of a nation' principal' - hold the nation together
and give the nation its 'flavor' - the salt of the nation are those
mature believers who construct an edification complex in their soul
- made of bible doctrine upon doctrine}."

The 'Ways' of the Jews included:
a)
Spiritual - Mosaic Law principals of keeping God first in your life:
belief in God and spiritual growth through study of the Word.
b) Military - strong military
c) Economic - free enterprise with little government interference
d) Social - moral society (and particularly no phallic cult, drug addition etc.)}

in contrast,
if
they {the Gentile Nation} will not 'hear, concentrate
and
obey/apply' {shama`}

maybe they will not, maybe they will -
I
will pluck up . . . utterly destroying that nation
{any Gentile Nation that rejects the "Ways of God's
People"}."
