1-13: Signs of National Disintegration}
{Verses
1-4: Sign of Idolatry}
1~~"The
sin/'miss the mark' {negative volition}
of
Judah {Southern Kingdom} . . . {is} written
with
a pen of iron {used for writing or carving names on metals},
and
with the point of a diamond {used for sculpting in metals} . . .
graven/sculpted
upon
the tablet/'writing material' of their heart/'right lobe',
and
upon the horns of your altars
{names of false gods are engraved here - see Ezekiel 3:7-9 and
Zechariah 7:11-12}."
{Note: This is again referring to the Phallic Cult. The name of the false god was carved into the metal of the idol - example Baal or Astarte would we carved into the idol.}
{Note: The tablet of the heart is the mentality of the right lobe of the brain. On it is written false concepts if it is missing divine viewpoint.}
2~~"As
they {parents} remember their children
so
do they {remember} their altars
and
their Astartes {'asherah}
by
the green trees {represents the goddess of sex}
upon
the high hills {represents the worship of Baal}."
{Note: The 'asherah was a figure of a naked woman. It represented Astarte which was the Hebrew name for the false goddess of love - similar to Venus and Aphrodite and Egyptians Ishtar. She was one of the false idols worshiped in the Phallic Cult. 'Asherah refers to the many idols of Astarte that have been set up in the groves and hilltops to be worshiped in all forms of illicit sex - they love their idols even MORE than their children who were sacrificed in fiery furnaces while they fornicated.}
3~~"O
My 'mountain in the field' {insulting reference to Jerusalem},
I
{God} will give your substance
and
all your treasures to the spoil,
and
your high places for sin {Baal sanctuaries},
throughout
all your borders
{lose all their land even the boarder areas}."
{Note: Some of the Jews did not go in for the religious end of the idolatry so they just brought the Baal fornication into the city itself and just fornicated. So the 'mountain' represents the sex of the Phallic Cult and the field here means it is done also in the city of Jerusalem itself. God is insulting the Jews greatly here.}
4~~"And
you {Jews of Jerusalem from previous verse}
shall
break loose
from
'the act of possessing your possessions -something wonderful'
I
{God} have given you
and
that by means of your own self {principal of free will}.
And
I {God} will cause you to serve your enemies
in
the land, which you do not know {Chaldea}.
For
you have kindled a fire
{dry and brittle souls - no doctrine - analogy to ready to burn}.
My
anger shall receive ignition
for
'a long period of time'/forever {`owlam}."
{Note: `Owlam - is the Hebrew word usually meaning 'forever'. It does also mean 'a very long period of time' or 'an indefinite period of time'. This is also the word used in Isaiah 33:14 for sinners being in the 'everlasting' fire. Here we have a double meaning - the 5th cycle of discipline will last 70 years for the believers and unbelievers alike. But for the unbelievers it also refers to eternity future in the lake of fire.}

5-9: Tree of the Blessed Man}
5~~"Thus
says Jehovah/God,
"Being
cursed is the person
{1}
who trusts in human beings {'adam}
and
{2 who} makes/'establishes a pattern'
the
flesh/'male sexual ability' {the sin nature}
his
arm/strength/crutch . . .
and
his heart/'right lobe' turns away from Jehovah/God."

6~~"And
he/she {any carnal person}
shall
be like a naked, destitute person
in
the desert
for
he/she will not see and identify 'divine provision'
{here Jeremiah's Right Woman does not recognize him as
her Right Man}
when
it {God's provision} comes.
But
he/she shall 'abide permanently in a specific status'
in
parched places {places of misery} . . .
in
the desert . . .
in
a land sowed with salt
{practice of pouring salt on a land after burning building to the
ground}
which
is not 'sitting/dwelling in a place of happiness'.
7~~Being
constantly made happy
is
the 'warrior peaking in strength'/'woman peaking in beauty' {geber}
who
trusts/'exhales confidence in faith rest' {batach}
in
Jehovah/God . . .
whose
confidence {mibtach} . . . {is} Jehovah/God.
{Note: This is a paronomasia: batach - mibtach. Trust and confidence.}
{Jeremiah's
Double Portion Since without Right Woman}
8~~He
{Jeremiah} shall be like a tree
{a pretty tree was carved up to worship as Ishtar - so this is God's
humor - She should be with Jeremiah but she is off fornicating
under a tree carved up as the goddess of love}
being
planted by the waters {healing waters of the Word};
and
by the river {Water of the Word}
he
will spread out his roots
{picture of growth - ECS in Jeremiah's soul}.
And
he shall not see and identify {be disturbed}
when
heat/disasters comes
{refers to his RW coming to him and breaking open the old wounds.
Now his roots have spread and when she comes 'bringing the heat'
it no longer opens the wounds}
but
his leaves/foliage {life in phase II}
shall
always be green {represents prosperity - + H}.
He
does not worry
in
the year of drought {represents depression}
nor
he will never be caused to stop
from
manufacturing {'asah}
fruit
{happiness out of doctrine manufactured here}.
{Verses
9-10: Message of the Two Hearts}
{First
Jeremiah's RW's Heart}
9~~"The
heart/'right lobe' {emphasis on old sin nature
wrapped up in mental attitude sins}
is
deceitful/fraudulent/'non-reality' above all {things},
and
'dangerously sick'
{mental attitude sins lead to temporary or permanent
psychotic conditions}.
Who
has the ability to discern it?"

10~~
"I . . . Jehovah/God explore/search
the
heart/'right lobe'
{God initiates love relationship with Jeremiah here},
I
test the emotions
{idiom - literally 'the kidneys': the emotions are the appreciator
of the soul emotions reflect the mentality of the soul. If no
doctrine, then emotion rules and is destructive. If doctrine
rules your emotions, heart is in control.},
even
to give {nathan - a verb of God's grace}
every
man according to his ways {daily function of GAP},
and
according to the fruit/production {divine good} of his doings.
{Jeremiah's
Right Woman - a Loser - Two Analogies}
11~~As
the 'sand partridge' sits {on eggs}
and
hatches that which she did not lay {pirated from other birds}. . .
as
he that constantly acquires wealth and not by right {cheated}. . .
in
the midst of her days,
they
forsake her {Jeremiah's right woman}
and
at the end she shall be a 'stupid wicked'
{nabal - status as dying the sin unto death}.
{Note:
The female sand partridge is a pirate and steals and hatches the
eggs of other birds. In many ancient languages there was a commonly
known saying and that is in view here:
"He who gains riches and that by wrong, is like a partridge who
hatches eggs he has not laid." The babies hatch and soon fly off
to their own species. This is Jeremiah's right woman fornicating with
other men. They soon find out the sex is not satisfying with her and
run off to find their 'right woman'. Same with thieves - most thieves
die poor - easy come easy go.}
{Note: Nabal literally means a 'stupid wicked'. What is that? It is a person who has no doctrine in their right lobe. Their emotions rule the body. False doctrines fill the void of True doctrine and she forms norms and standards contrary to the Word of God - evil conscience. So she gets into adultery, idolatry, and any other evil that human viewpoint leads her into. A lifetime of the frantic search for happiness, which she never finds. She will die the sin unto death as a 'stupid wicked'.}
12~~A
glorious high throne {seating of Christ}
exalted
from the beginning
is
the place of our sanctuary.
{Note: The Lord Jesus Christ seated as the Shekinah Glory on the mercy seat is the 'double portion' of Jeremiah. Psalm 81 and Psalm 99:1}
{Rejection
of Doctrine is 'Forsaking the Lord'}
Jeremiah
17:13~~"O Jehovah/God
{expression
of emotion toward God - here Jesus Christ -
the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob},
the
confidence {no doubt at all} of Israel,
all
that forsake/abandon/desert You {God and/or His Word}
shall
be ashamed,
and
they that turn aside from Me
shall
be "consigned to oblivion'
{idiom - literally is 'written in the dust' - meaning they wanted to
be famous, but their name would only be written in dust NOT
in stone and remembered forever - Revelation 3:12 tells us that
winner believers had their names in stone in the Record Room in
heaven},
because
they have forsaken Jehovah/God . . .
the
fountain of living waters."
{Note: Jesus Christ declares the fountain of 'always living waters' is in Him - John 4:13-14}.

14-18: Prayer During National Disintegration}
{Jeremiah's
First Petition to God Concerning Category 2 Love - His Right Woman}
14~~"
'Restore to prosperity'/Comfort/Console/Heal {rapha'} me
{imperative mood - this is a command - literally claiming a promise
made by God},
O
Jehovah/God,
and
I shall receive comfort/healing/prosperity {knows it will happen!}.
Save/Deliver
me
{again imperative mood - claiming what God promised},
and
I shall receive deliverance.
For
You and only You {God} . . . my object of praise
{category 1 reciprocal love for God - God doubles his love
relationship with Him to make up for the loss of category 2 love
with his right woman}!
{Note: Jeremiah is broken hearted from the loss of his right woman. This is his prayer to God to get over her. Rapha' is a Hebrew word with the connotation of restoring back to what you were before - usually back to good health.}
{Note: Jeremiah is a mature believer. He understands the grace of God and the promises God has made to those who return His love. Jeremiah knows the protocol of prayer and what prayers are appropriate, and the mechanics of prayer. He knows if done properly, God is immutable and His grace is endless. He will always, answer appropriate prayers offered correctly.}
{Ridicule
of Negative Volition}
15~~
Behold, they keep on saying what they are thinking {'amar}
unto
me {in ridicule},
"Where
is the Word of Jehovah/God? Let it come now."
{Note: For 11 years Jeremiah has preached their destruction but it has not come (yet!) so they assume that it will NOT come! Ridicule! The timing is God's not theirs!}
{Stability
of Positive Volition}
16~~As
for me {Jeremiah},
I
have not withdrawn/'run away' myself
from
being a shepherd/pastor
after
You {moving in the direction of God}.
Neither
have I myself desired/wished for the day of trouble
{He knows what would happen to the country under the 5th
cycle - he loves his country!}.
You
know {God knows it now and always knew it}
the
content of my message
{idiom: literally: 'that which came out of my lips'}
was
right before You.
{Jeremiah's
2nd Petition To God Concerning Category 1 Love - His Right God}
17~~Do
not ruin me
{idiom: literally 'become a shattering/'breaking in pieces' to me}
My
refuge/shelter/fortification {iron in the soul} are You {God}
in
the day of evil.
{Jeremiah's
3rd Petition to God Concerning Destruction of Apostates}
18~~
Let them who persecute me be disappointed/frustrated,
but
let not me be disappointed/frustrated
{10 years leading up to end}.
Let
them be broken/dismayed,
but
let not me be broken/dismayed
{586 BC was literally answered by God}.
Cause
to come upon them the day of evil
{divine
discipline under God's timing - not telling God when to
do this},
and
'smash to pieces' them with double destruction
{1st destruction - sickness of the degenerate nation (a form of
warning - things get worse and worse; and then, 2nd destruction
- dying of the sick nation.}
{Note: This is a prayer for a mature communicator of the Word. This is not a prayer for the ordinary believer. Jeremiah is asking God to protect him and thereby permit His Word to be delivered by getting the apostate people out of his way.}
