II Samuel

Chapter 6

1 Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel . . . thirty thousand.

2 And David arose,
and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah,
to bring up from thence the ark of 'Elohiym/Godhead,
whose name is called by the name of the Jehovah/God of hosts
that dwells between the cherubim.

3 And they set the ark of 'Elohiym/Godhead upon a new cart,
and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah.

And Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart.

4 And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab
which was at Gibeah,
accompanying the ark of 'Elohiym/Godhead.

And Ahio went before the ark.

5 And David and all the house of Israel played before Jehovah/God
on all manner of instruments made of fir wood,
even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

6 And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor,
Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of 'Elohiym/Godhead,
and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.

7 And the anger of the Jehovah/God was kindled against Uzzah;
and 'Elohiym/Godhead smote him there for his error;
and there he died by the ark of 'Elohiym/Godhead.

8 And David was displeased,
because Jehovah/God had made a breach upon Uzzah.

And he called the name of the place Perez-uzzah to this day.

9 And David was afraid of Jehovah/God that day, and said,
"How shall the ark of the Jehovah/God come to me?

10 So David would not remove the ark of Jehovah/God unto him into the city of David.

But David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.

11 And the ark of the Jehovah/God continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months.

And Jehovah/God blessed Obededom, and all his household.

12 And it was told king David, saying,
Jehovah/God has blessed the house of Obededom,
and all that pertained unto him,
because of the ark of 'Elohiym/Godhead.

So David went and brought up the ark of 'Elohiym/Godhead
from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.

13 And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the Jehovah/God had gone six paces,
he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.

14 And David danced before Jehovah/God with all his might;
and David was girded with a linen ephod.

15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Jehovah/God with shouting,
and with the sound of the trumpet.

{Unmasking the Reversionistic Woman - David's first Wife - Michal}
16~~ And as the ark of the Jehovah/God came into the city of David,
Michal, Saul's daughter
  {not called "David's wife" because she has chosen to remain the
  'reversionistic daughter instead of becoming a SuperGrace wife},
leaned out the window and kept staring at,
the king David {her first husband}
'leaping up in down agilely in frenzy of ecstasy'
  {pazaz - Piel stem - a mad victorious dance of happiness -
  the ark represents the Jehovah/God and David knew this!}
and dancing {karar}
before Jehovah/God.

And she despised
  {bazah - reversionistic attitude}
him {David} in her 'right lobe'/heart.

{Note: A liar eventfully forgets what she said to whom. She says the wrong thing at the wrong time and everyone catches on. David has recovered the ark from the Philistines. He loved the ark and knew it represented the Jehovah/God in Whom he was occupied. David was pazaz . . . Michal was bazah - mental attitude sin from reversionism.}

{First Things First - Give Praise to the Lord}
17~~So they brought in the Ark of Jehovah/God,
and set it in its place
  {in the Holy of Holies of the Tabernacle},
inside the tabernacle which David had pitched for it
  {now it is in a tent in what will be Jerusalem}.

And David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Jehovah/God.

{Note: David was not from the tribe of Levi so he did not go past the Brazen Altar. In this dispensation, a person from the tribe of Judah was not qualified to do so. Until the Ark was returned, the Israelis could not celebrate the feast of atonement.}

18^^ And as soon as David had made
an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings,
he blessed the people
in the name of Jehovah/God of the armies/hosts.

{David Throws Quite a Victory Party for the Nation}
19~~And he dealt/'gave out' among all the people,
even among the whole multitude of Israel,
as well to the women as men,
to every one a cake of bread,
and a good piece/chunk of steak/meat,
and a flagon of wine
  {they all ate and drank well then the party ended}.

So all the people departed every one to his house.

{Verses 20-23: Expression of Reversionism}
{David Returns to Bless His House Next - Instead He is Hit with Criticism - An expression of her Attitude}
20~~Then David returned to bless his household.
And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said,
"How glorious was the king of Israel today
  {sarcasm obvious even to David},
who uncovered himself today
in the eyes of the women members of his staff/servants,
as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!"
  {self-righteous, critical reversionist}

21-22~~And David said unto Michal,
"It was before Jehovah/God,
Who chose me instead of your father
  {whatever feelings David had for Michal are dead right here - he sees what is in her right lobe!},
and before all his house,
to appoint me ruler over the people of Jehovah/Go . . . over Israel.

Therefore I will dance before Jehovah/God. 22~~

And I will yet be more vile than this,
and will be base in my own sight.

And of the maidservants, which you have mentioned,
of them shall I be 'held' in honor
  {David's sarcasm in return - every woman you said I made an ass of
  myself in front of - they will honor me, instead of you}.

23~~Therefore Michal, the daughter of Saul,
there was not to her 'sexual relations'/'more offspring'
  {see would no longer have the adoration of any man or the physical
  sex with anyone and no more children}
unto the day of her death
  {her judgment in time}.
