Isaiah Chapter 44
1
Yet now hear, O Jacob My servant;
2
Thus said Jehovah/God Who manufactured {`asah} you,
Fear
not, O Jacob, My servant; {Note: Y@shuruwn - Jeshurun means "upright one". Some teach that it refers to the pivot of believers in Israel, and later in any client nation to God. It is similar to what is called the 'Pleroma' of the Church Age (from the Greek for 'fullness' - very mature believers filled with divine viewpoint).}
3
For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty,
I
will pour My spirit upon your seed,
4
And they shall spring up as among the grass,
5
One shall say, I am Jehovah/God's;
{The
Alpha and Omega} And beside Me there is no 'Elohiym/Godhead.
7
And who, as I,
And
the things that are coming, 8 Fear you not, neither be afraid. Have I not told you from that time, and have declared it? You are even My witnesses. Is there a 'Elowahh/God beside Me? Yes, there is no Rock {of God} {tsuwr}. I know not any.
9
Those who make a graven image
And
their delectable things shall not profit;
10
Who has formed a god/'el, or molten a graven image 11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed. And the workmen, they are of men.
Let
them all be gathered together, Yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
12
The smith with the tongs both works in the coals,
Yes,
he is hungry, and his strength fails . . .
13
The carpenter stretches out his rule;
14
He hews him down cedars, He plants an ash, and the rain does nourish it. 15 Then shall it be for a man to burn.
For
he will take thereof,
16
He burns part thereof in the fire;
Yes,
he warms himself, and said,
17
And the residue thereof he makes a god/'el,
He
falls down unto it, and worships it, and prays unto it, and says, 18 They have not known nor understood.
For
he has shut their eyes,
19
And none considers in his heart/'right lobe',
Yes,
also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; And shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? Shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?' 20 He feeds on ashes.
A
deceived heart/'right lobe' has turned him aside,
21
Remember these, O Jacob and Israel . . . I have formed/molded you.
You
are My servant: O Israel,
22~~
I {Jesus} have blotted out your transgressions
Return
to me {reversionist} . . .
23
Sing, O you heavens . . .
24
Thus said Jehovah/God, your Redeemer,
Who
frustrates the tokens of the liars,
Who
turns wise men backward,
Who
confirms the word of His servant, Who said to Jerusalem, 'You shall be inhabited'. And to the cities of Judah, 'You shall be built.' And I will raise up the decayed places thereof. 27 Who said to the deep, 'Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers.
