Isaiah
Chapter
56
1
Thus said Jehovah/God,
Keep
you {My} justice {mishpat},
and
'manufacture {out of doctrine in your soul}'
{`asah - to make out of something else}
righteousness
. . .
for
My salvation/deliverance
is
near to come.
And
My righteousness
to
be revealed.
2
Blessed is the man who does this,
and
the son of man who lays hold on it . . .
who
keeps the Sabbath from polluting it
and
keeps his hand from doing any evil.
{Note:
The keeping of the Sabbath was a command for the Jews of the Jewish
Age, under the Mosaic Law. In the Church Age, we are under a HIGHER
law - keep EVERY DAY as unto the Lord.}
3
Neither let the son of the stranger,
who
has joined himself to Jehovah/God, speak, saying,
Jehovah/God
has utterly separated me
from
his people.
Neither
let the eunuch say,
Behold,
I am a dry tree.
4
For thus said Jehovah/God unto the eunuchs
who
keep My Sabbaths,
and
choose the things that please Me,
and
take hold of My covenant; 5
even
unto them
will
I give in My house
and
within my walls
a
place and a name
better
than of sons and of daughters.
I
will give them an everlasting name,
that
shall not be cut off.
6
Also the sons of the stranger,
who
join themselves to Jehovah/God,
to
serve Him,
and
to love the name of Jehovah/God,
to
be His servants,
every
one who keeps the Sabbath from polluting it,
and
takes hold of My covenant; 7
even
them will I bring to My holy mountain,
and
make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their
burnt offerings and their sacrifices
{just as with keeping the Sabbath - these are commandments for
the Jews to follow in the Jewish Age - in the Church Age, the
Lamp without Spot HAS been sacrificed so once the Reality
comes, the shadows should be set aside}
shall
be accepted upon My altar . . .
for
My house
shall
be called an house of prayer
for
all people.
8``
The Lord/'Adonay God/Jehovah
Who
gathers the outcasts of Israel said,
Yet
will I gather others to Him,
beside
those who are gathered unto Him.
9
All you animals/beasts of the field,
come
to devour,
yes,
all you animals/beasts in the forest.
10
His watchmen are blind.
They
are all ignorant.
They
are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark;
sleeping,
lying down, loving to slumber.
11
Yes, they are greedy dogs
which
can never have enough,
and
they are shepherds
who
cannot understand.
They
all look to their own way,
every
one for his gain,
from
his quarter.
12
Come you, say they,
I
will fetch wine,
and
we will fill ourselves with strong drink
and
tomorrow shall be as this day,
and
much more abundant.
