Isaiah Chapter 57
1
The righteous perishes,
And
merciful men are taken away, 2 He shall enter into peace.
They
shall rest in their beds,
3
But draw near here, 4 Against whom do you sport yourselves?
Against
whom make you a wide mouth,
Are
you not children of transgression, {Note: This is the false idol worship of the Phallic Cult. Sexual orgies that included child sacrifice in the fires so the sexual experience was heightened in all this perversion.}
6
Among the smooth stones of the stream is your portion;
Even
to them you have poured a drink offering, Should I receive comfort in these? 7 Upon a lofty and high mountain you have set your bed. Even there went you up to offer sacrifice.
8
Behind the doors also and the posts
For
you have discovered yourself to another than Me,
You
have enlarged your bed, You loved their bed where you saw it.
9
And you went to the king with ointment,
10
You are wearied in the greatness of your way; You have found the life of your hand. Therefore you were not grieved.
11
And of whom you have been afraid or feared,
Have
not I held my peace even of old,
12
I will declare your righteousness,
13
When you cry,
But
he who puts his trust in Me
14
And shall say,
15
For thus said the high and lofty One
16~~And
I {God} will not contend forever . . .
17
For the 'punishment for sin'/iniquity {`avon}
I
hid me, and was wroth,
18
I have seen his ways,
I
will lead him also,
19
I create the fruit of the lips;
20
But the wicked are like the troubled sea,
21
There is no peace,
