Job
Chapter
25
{Verses
1-4: Bildad's Message on the Sovereignty of God and the Total
Depravity of Man} He establishes order 'in the Heights of heaven'/'in His High Places'. 3~~Can His force be numbered? No.
Upon
whom does His Light rise? 4~~How then can a man be righteous before God/'El? How can one . . . born of woman . . . be pure? 5-6~~If even the moon is not bright and even the stars are not pure in His eyes, 6~~ how much less man (?) . . . who is but a maggot; a son of man . . . who is only a worm?" {Note: This is a correct dissertation on the Sovereignty of God verses the total depravity of man. But he is judging that they apply to Job here, but sin is not the reason for Job's suffering - good doctrine, bad application.}
