7 - How People are evangelized in the Tribulation}
{Angels
Restraining Divine Judgment until Command comes}
1~~After
these things
{the
breaking open of the first 6 seals of the Doomsday book}
I
saw four angels {Pursuivant messenger angels} . . .
standing
ready {on Red Alert to deliver Divine Judgement}
at
the four corners {hemispheres} of the earth . . .
restraining
the four winds {one 'wind' for each of the 4 hemispheres}
in
order that no {judgment or disciplinary} wind should blow
on
the land or on the sea or against any tree.
{Note: This verse indicates that it is the angels who control weather. Each of the 4 weather angels controls the winds of one hemisphere. SideNote: Actually there are 12 total wind cells . . . three cells to each hemisphere of the earth.}
{Note:
The following is the Order of Battle for Angels:
College
of Heralds
a)
Angel of the Lord - a Theophany of the Lord Jesus Christ
b)
Seraphim Angel - with 6 wings. Next to the Lord, the Highest
rank/order of Angels
(Isaiah 6:2)
1) Powerful angel of Revelation 5:2
(rank of King or Officer of Arms)
2) 4 Angelic Heralds of Revelation 4:6-8
c)
Cherubim - Pursuivant Officers (the 'English College of Heralds')-
1) Cherub - the high officer class with 4 wings (making them lower than
Seraphim)
(SideNote: Satan was a Cherub so he was NOT the highest ranking of
angels -
see Ezekiel 28 for more on Satan.)
(SideNote: Cherubs also guard the gates to the Garden of Eden - Genesis 3:24)
2) Pursuivant Messenger Angels - officers with no wings. Great
responsibilities -
Destroyed Sodom in Genesis 19:13,
Execution of wicked in Ezekiel 9; Ezekiel
10:6. And the weather angels here. These are still officers in
the angelic
order of battle.}
2~~Then
I saw another angel
{Pursuivant officer - Cherub rank - commander of the 4 Pursuivant
messenger angels of the previous verse}
who
had the seal of the living God . . .
coming
up from the east
and
he shouted a command
with
a loud voice
to
the four {pursuivant} angels . . .
to
those who were given {power/authority} . . .
to
damage the land and the sea.
{Note: RBT says the 'seal of the living God' is comparable to the 'wall of fire' that protects believers in the Tribulation.}
{Restraining
Order to the Weather Angels from their Commander}
3~~And
he {the Cherub Commander} said/commanded
{negative command from higher authority},
"Do
not damage the land {earth's surface}
or
the sea or the trees
until
we have sealed
the
servants of our God
in
their foreheads {refers to the 144,000 Jewish evangelists}.
{Note: Grace always precedes judgment. The natural disasters from the wind (hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.) are held up until every unbeliever in the Tribulation has been evangelized.}

I heard the number {arithmos} of those who had been sealed . . .
144,000
were sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel: 5~~

from the tribe of Judah {ruling tribe- brothers praise him - Genesis 49:8}

from the tribe of Rueben {the oldest yet 'unstable as water' Genesis 49:6}

from the tribe of Gad {the counter-puncher advancing -also see
Genesis 49:19}

from the tribe of Asher {prosperity of the mature - see also Genesis 49:20}

{Note: Jacob had two wives each of whom provided a 'head maid' as a mistress. From these four women - Jacob had 12 sons:

{Note: Arithmos does mean number and it is the Greek word from which we get arithmetic.}
{Note: 144,000 is 12000 evangelists from 12 tribes. But actually, Jacob adopted Joseph's two sons (Manasseh and Ephraim) on his deathbed and through Joseph's double portion - each was given a tribe - creating 13 total tribes. Since the tribe of Dan will be the source of the dictator of Israel, there will not be 12,000 evangelists from the tribe of Dan. Per Genesis 49:17, the Prophecy of Dan is as 'a serpent in the road bites the horse and the rider (Israel) falls backward'.}
{Note: The Jews usually would make this list chronologically starting with Ruben the oldest. Ruben lost his right to rule to Judah, his right to be the line of the priests to Levi, and the right to double portions to Joseph because of his instability and through his wrong decisions in life (Genesis 49:4). Being out of order had to do with how their descendents will hold up under the trying times of the Tribulation. Those who follow Judah and plug along and take in doctrine and take in doctrine will do the best.}
{Now
the Result of the Tribulational Evangelism of the 144,000 - Verses 9-14}
9~~After
these things {after the sealing of the 144,000}
I
looked and
behold
a large crowd {believers martyred during the tribulation}
which
no one could count . . .
from
all {Gentile} nations {no national barriers hindered Evangelists in
Tribulation} . . . and Jewish tribes {no racial barriers} . . .
and
the masses {no social barriers} . . .
and
foreign languages {no linguistic barriers} . . .
standing
before the throne {of God the Father}
and
before the Lamb {Jesus Christ} . . .
and
they {the martyrs} were wearing white robes {leukos stole}
and
palm branches were in their hands.
{Note: This time these people are correct to carry palm branches (those in Mark 11 were wrong! Palm Sunday only shows the ignorance of the Jews [Mark 11,12]. See also Psalms 118 for more explanation of the palm branches.}
{Note: White robes here refer the the Tribulation martyrs in their interim bodies. The Greek Words here are 'leukos stole'. When stole is used for robes in this context, it usually means the interim body -similar to Paul using 'tent' as the obvious analogy for his corruptible body.}
{SideNote: Here were the 7 feasts the Jews celebrated. The first four represented Christ in the 1st advent, then a break of a few months (which we now know signified the break for the Church Age, and then the three final feasts representing the 2nd Advent of Christ:
1) April 14ish - The Passover - Christ the Savior - the sacrificial Lamb goes to the slaughter.
2) April 15-21ish - The Unleavened Bread - 7 day feast Rebound and Advance to maturity.
3) First Sunday after Passover - The First Fruits - Christ in Resurrected Body.
4) Fifty days after The Passover - Pentecost - Setting aside of Israel as the Client Nation to God.
Break of Months (Church Age)
5) After October?? The Trumpets - Termination of 5th cycle of discipline and re-gathering of Israel..
6) The Atonement - Yum Kippur - Fulfillment of the Unconditional Covenants to Israel
(Abrahamic, Palestinian, Davidic, and New Covenants)
7) Feast of the Tabernacle - Millennial reign of Christ.
{Testimony
of the Tribulational Martyrs}
10~~Then
they {the martyrs} shouted and said,
"Salvation
belongs to our God {God the Father planned it} . . .
Who
sits on the throne . . .
and
to the Lamb {Jesus Christ executed it}"
{Note: Both God the Father and God the Son occupy the throne. The Father is invisible and the Son visible. Salvation is a gift of God and it belongs to Him - He graciously shares it with us.}
{Worship
of the Elect Angels - Verses 11-12; Classification of the angels -
Verse 11}
11~~Furthermore
all the {elect} angels
were
standing around the throne,
and
around the 'angelic staff officers' {presbuteros - the 24 elders} .
. .
and
around the four angelic heralds {zoon}.
Then
they fell on their faces before the throne
and
they worshipped God.
{Note: Zoon is translated beast in the King James Version. RBT says it means here 'angelic heralds'.}
{Categories
of Angelic Worship}
12~~And
they {elect angels} said, "Amen {I believe it}.
Praise
and
glory {only creatures in a glorified state can worship this way}
and
wisdom
and
gratitude {thanksgiving}
and
honor
and
power
and
ability {divine attributes} . . .
belong
to our God . . .
forever
and ever. Amen {I believe it}. "
{Verses
13-14: Identification of the Tribulational Martyrs 13 is the
Question, 14 the Answer}
13~~Then
one of the angelic staff officers answered/responded,
and
said to me {John}
{The
angel knows the answers, he is simply doing this for our sake},
"These
who are wearing the white robes, who are they?
And
from where have they come?"
14~~Consequently
I said to him,
"My
Lord {the teaching angel}, you know."
Then
he said to me,
"These
are they who have come out of the great Tribulation,
furthermore
they have washed their robes
{imputation
of divine righteousness at the moment of faith in Christ},
and
they have made them white {interim body after death}
by
means of the blood of the Lamb {the saving work of Christ on the cross}.
{Verses
15-17: Interim State of the Tribulational Martyrs}
15~~'Because
of this'/'for this reason'
they
are before the throne of God.
In
fact, they 'spiritually serve'/worship Him {God the Father}
by
day and by night
in
His temple {in 3rd heaven}.
And
He {God the Son} Who sits on the throne
'bivouacs
with'/'pitch a tent over' them {emphasis on a temporary arrangement}.
{Note: RBT says one of the things we learn here is that the Tribulational martyrs in their interim bodies do not have the need to sleep. It is a privilege to worship God.}
{Deliverance
of Tribulation Believers from those Terrible Times}
16~~
They {Tribulational Martyrs}
will
never again be hungry,
neither
will they thirst any longer;
never
shall the sun beat down on them {torture Indian style - exposure, dehydration
and death}, nor
any
scorching heat.
{Note: RBT says this verse indicates many Tribulational believers will die of hunger, thirst, on and on. Apparently they will be tortured to deny Christ and they will not do so.}
{The
Blessings of the Eternal State}
17~~
Because the Lamb {Jesus Christ - the Lamb of God}
Who
is in the middle of the throne {visible - seated and sometimes standing}
shall
be their shepherd {in the sense of caring for His flock}.
Furthermore,
He will lead/guide them
to
the springs of the waters of life.
And
God {God the Father}
will
wipe away every tear
from
their eyes.
{Note: In ancient times, water was of great, great value. The concept here is being lead to great blessings in the interim life. Apparently, all believers will have great blessings in the interim state. Additional blessings come after the evaluation by the Lord.}
